  • CW617N (CuZn40Pb2)
  • CW602N (CuZn37)
  • CW613N (CuZn36Pb2)
  • CW510L (CuZn28)

Widely used for its mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance.

Preparation of the raw brass material

Brass is supplied in the form of bars, tubes or wires. The raw material is loaded into the turning machine and fixed in a chuck or clamping system.

Application sectors of brass parts

  • Electrical and electronic connectors: connectors, pins and electrical terminals
  • Plumbing components: parts for faucets, valves and fittings
  • Musical instruments: parts for trumpets, saxophones and brass instruments
  • Decorative parts: buttons, ornaments and jewellery parts
  • Machine and tool components: machine and tool parts such as gears, bearings and bushings
  • Sport accessories: such as gear parts for volleyball or badminton nets for example
  • Parts for industrial supply: such as fittings or pistons

Quality control, finishing operations and additionnal treatments for brass

Throughout the process, quality controls are carried out to ensure that dimensions, tolerances and specifications meet the requirements.

After machining operations, finishing operations can be performed to improve the surface quality or appearance of the brass part.

This can include :
